Drury Plaza Hotel Nashville Franklin

Breakfast was an ample offering that would cover 99% of most people. It was hot, and the staff was attentive to the guests' needs. Of note, on our first AM the building adjacent to the hotel experienced a fire, which resulted in the evacuation of the hotel. While guests were outside, staff were able to offer bottled water and some fresh fruit to help during the fire. Once guests were allowed to return to the hotel, staff prepared breakfast and took care of guests in a very professional manner. Hats off to leadership and to staff for how they handled the situation. Dinner was also an ample offering, accompanied by a free cocktail, which made for a pleasant end to the day. The room was comfortable. The "best" feature was the ability to set the A/C to a level of comfort that I am accustomed to.

We really liked the location. It was a short drive from there to downtown Franklin ( a really cozy village full of nice restaurants and shops). We took UBER and it was around 8$ each way. There are restaurants nearby as well as Wholefoods. Breakfast and snacks in the evening were included in the price, which was a bonus. We also were lucky to check in early at no cost. We stayed on the 9th floor and we had AMAZING views from there. The room was really spacious and the beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was varied with healthy options.

The free breakfast was outstanding. So many choices - hard boiled and scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuits and gravy or toast, bagels, or muffins. Pancakes or belgium waffels were available, as well as hot or cold cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and 3 choices of juice. Coffee was plentiful and hot - and there were multiple tea bag choices if that was your preference.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. I especially like their “Kick Back” in the evening, especially after driving all day. The last thing I want to do is get back in the car and find a place to eat. Although, this location has an attached restaurant. We didn’t try the restaurant, as we were only there for the one night. The place was immaculate as was our room. Very comfortable bed and we had a pretty spacious shower. Breakfast was great…again, convenient as we wanted to get on road for the rest of our journey.

Clean rooms and facilities, plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good as hotel breakfasts go. Even better, Drury’s dinner service made our stay a real bargain. My wife and I joked that we may have found our future retirement home, LOL.
